If we choose to restrict ourselves solely to a version of socialism or progressivism that views a strict binary between what’s domestic and what’s considered international, we will find ourselves in the same weakened position as we already are as a left. We will, most of all, not be aligning ourselves with a political strategy that fits more accurately with how U.S. capitalism thrives and festers, which is through an international context.
