Enemy Feminisms / Sophie Lewis

During the moments in history where fascism was making radical feminism a really serious offer, it is extremely important to hold comrades as though they were non-disposable and to to learn how to disagree passionately while holding one another as comrades close. Part of being able to do that is to not hesitate just because someone is a feminist. If that is the label that claims you and that gives you pause and that demobilizes and confuses and disarms you when you see it in the face of the fascist mob, you are my enemy.

Sophie Lewis returns to This Is Hell! to discuss her new book, Enemy Feminisms: TERFs, Policewomen, and Girlbosses Against Liberation from Haymarket Books. "This Week in Rotten History" from Renaldo Migaldi follows the interview.
