Clara E. Mattei

Clara E. Mattei is a professor of economics at The University of Tulsa. She is the Founding President of FREE—the Forum for Real Economic Emancipation—and the author of Escape From Capitalism (Simon & Shuster) and The Capital Order (University of Chicago Press). Her research contributes to the history of capitalism, exploring the critical relation between economic ideas and technocratic policy making.
